Basic engineering is dedicated to engineering simulations, development of heat and material balance, P&I diagrams, determination of arrangement and basic parameters of the equipment. This stage is the basis for subsequent stages of the project.
Here the parameters of media, energy carriers, product output, and loads on engineering structures are approved in the final form and the basic principles of plant control are defined.
Basic engineering gives a possibility of generating a comprehensive view of further plant after project implementation. As the result of basic engineering the customer gets a possibility for ordering main process equipment.
